Perforated plates<\/h3>\n

Openings in plate material can be applied in different ways and are used for many applications and in various industries.
\nFor instance, sieving, filtering, protecting or controlling an air flow or liquid flow.<\/p>\n

In the image shown, the parameters that have to be observed when a perforation is applied, are as follows:
\nA is the distance from the heart to heart between the holes, better known as \u2018pitch\u2019.
\nD implicates the size of the hole, in other words, the diameter (\u00d8).<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the angle of the position of the holes is of importance. This can be straight, triangular or staggered.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Punched plate<\/h3>\n

The most common way of perforating plate material is by punching.
\nMesh Masters is able to supply your plates exactly according to your requirements.
\nThis can be with blank areas, different angles, square perforation or slots.<\/p>\n

Our plates are available on thicknesses from 0,30 up to 20 mm. for steel. For stainless steel, this is 15mm.
\nStandard plate size is 2000 x 1000mm.
\nHowever, we have possibilities to supply plates to a maximum size of 6000 x 2000mm.<\/p>\n

After punching, plates will be straightened and degreased to remove residues that are used during the process.
\nAvailable alloys are steel, stainless steel, Inconel\u2122, Incoloy\u2122, Monel\u2122, Duplex\u2122, titanium, copper, and brass for example.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Drilled plate<\/h3>\n

Besides punching, plates can also be drilled to perforate media.
\nGenerally, plates are drilled when the material is thicker than the diameter of the perforation.<\/p>\n

For drilling, we differ 3 ways to apply a hole:<\/p>\n

Our available drilling diameter is between 0,80mm. and 6,00mm.
\nDepending on the diameter of the hole we can process 6.000 x 2.000mm. plates with a thickness up to 30mm.
\nThe diameter of the perforation is between 0,80mm. and 6,00mm.<\/p>\n

After drilling the plates can be finished with sandblasting or electrolytic polishing.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
