Materials which Mesh Masters has got in their delivery program, are applied often for filtration and sieving.
Metal mesh is suitable to separate solids from each other, to separate solids from liquid, to filter solid parts from gasses or to separate a solvent from a liquid.
Mesh openings that vary from 1 micron up to 12.500 mm., a solution is possible for almost every material to be separated.
The required mesh here depends on the material to be filtered or sieved.
When a material has to be filtered where mesh isn’t subject to great wear or forces, woven wire mesh mostly is the right solution.
Depending on the weave, woven wire mesh is available with a mesh opening from 5 microns and with wire diameters of 0,015 mm.
This makes the mesh suitable to separate solids from solids or solids from liquids.
Crimped woven wire mesh is ideal for the use of soil cleaning in shaking screens, for example.
Because of the preformed thick wires, this mesh offers the required rigidity, wear resistance and form-retaining mesh opening to, for example, separate gravel from sand.
The mesh for this application can be supplied on roll or plate, but also completely in accordance with your required specifications as a semi-finished product.
Crimped woven wire mes can be supplied with a mesh opening from a few millimeters up to meshes bigger than 10 centimeters.
Our sintered mesh is suitable for filtering very fine parts in liquids or gasses.
For this reason, a sintered mesh is used often in petrochemical-, chemical- and pharmaceutical industries.
By combining several layers of mesh, a material is created that has a specific thickness, specific permeability and mesh size.
These properties give the mesh a high strength and an accurate filtration.
Available in AISI 304(L) and AISI 316(L), therefore heat-resistant and acid-resistant.
Our available meshes for filtration and sieving can be supplied on rolls, pieces, strokes, filter, according to drawing, etc.
Available in quantities from 1 piece up to big batches.
This all is available in many alloys.
